About Newman's Farm

Nestled in the heart of Langhorne Creek, Newman's Farm is a true South Australian treasure and the proud home of Rusticana Wines and Newman’s Horseradish. With a history dating back to 1925 in Tea Tree Gully, when Fred Newman first introduced this iconic condiment, the farm has been a cornerstone of Australian agriculture. Today, as the new custodians, the Bloomer Family is honored to carry on the legacy, keeping the dream alive.

What makes Newman's Farm truly unique is its distinction as Australia’s largest grower of horseradish, producing the famous Newman’s Horseradish that has become a staple in kitchens across the country. Alongside this, our vineyards are home to rare and bold grape varieties such as Zinfandel and Durif, which thrive in Langhorne Creek’s unique terroir. The cooling breezes from Lake Alexandrina lend a distinctive character to our wines, enhancing their flavour and depth.

At Newman's Farm, we take pride in blending history, innovation, and sustainability to produce exceptional wines and horseradish, sharing a taste of South Australia with every bottle and jar.
